Kasus Viral Berakhir Damai, Polres Sampang Fasilitasi Mediasi

KBRN, Sampang: Perkara dugaan penyebaran berita bohong di media sosial TikTok yang sempat viral dan melibatkan Wasim Mohammed Naji Al Jalal, warga Desa Masaran, Kecamatan Banyuates, dengan Habib Abd. Rahman, warga Jalan Jaksa Agung Suprapto (Pliyang), Sampang, akhirnya diselesaikan secara damai.

Awalnya, Habib Abd. Rahman melaporkan Wasim Mohammed Naji Al Jalal ke pihak kepolisian atas dugaan penyebaran informasi yang tidak benar melalui akun TikTok. Namun, setelah melalui proses komunikasi dan pertimbangan bersama, kedua pihak sepakat menyelesaikan perseteruan melalui jalur mediasi.

Mediasi digelar di ruang Kasat Reskrim Polres Sampang pada Senin, 2 Juni 2025, dan difasilitasi langsung oleh jajaran kepolisian.

Plh Kapolres Sampang AKBP Siswantoro melalui Kasi Humas Ipda Gama Rizaldi membenarkan bahwa Polres Sampang menjadi tempat penyelesaian damai atas kasus tersebut.

“Mediasi antara Wasim Mohammed Naji Al Jalal dan Habib Abd. Rahman merupakan bentuk nyata partisipasi masyarakat dalam membantu tugas Polri, khususnya dalam menciptakan situasi yang aman dan kondusif di wilayah Sampang,” ujar Ipda Gama, Rabu (5/6/2025).

Ia juga menyampaikan terima kasih atas keterlibatan berbagai pihak dalam proses perdamaian tersebut, termasuk kantor Imigrasi Pamekasan, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, dan unsur lain yang berkontribusi terhadap terciptanya kedamaian.

Proses mediasi berlangsung dengan penuh kekeluargaan dan ditandai dengan penandatanganan surat pernyataan damai, serta momen emosional saat kedua pihak saling memaafkan dan berpelukan sebagai simbol rekonsiliasi.

Ipda Gama menegaskan pentingnya peran seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban.

“Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk terus aktif menjaga kondusivitas dan membangun kerja sama yang erat dengan Polres Sampang guna mewujudkan lingkungan yang tertib, aman, damai, dan harmonis,” Gama mengakhiri.
